Important Service Updates and Infrastructure Enhancements

Greetings from Advika Data Center Services Pvt Ltd.

We would like to inform you about some important updates, enhancements, and upcoming changes across our infrastructure and services:

1. Hardware Firewall Deployment (Jaipur & Noida)
We have successfully deployed hardware firewalls across both our Jaipur and Noida networks. Customers can now request:

• Country-specific access control
• Port-level open/close rules

This can be implemented without changing your server IP.
Charges: ₹3,500 per IP/per rule per month + GST.

2. Business Email Pricing Update
The revised pricing for new and renewal email services will be:

• 5 GB Mailbox: ₹750/year + GST
• 10 GB Mailbox: ₹1,250/year + GST
• 20 GB Mailbox: ₹1,850/year + GST

3. Shared Hosting Pricing Revision
Effective 1st May 2026, the minimum shared hosting plan will start from ₹5,000/year + GST.

Reseller hosting has already been discontinued. Customers still using reseller hosting are requested to:

• Migrate to another provider, or
• Upgrade to a VPS with us

4. Domain Renewal Pricing Update
Effective 1st May 2026, domain renewal prices will increase by approximately 20% to 40%, depending on the TLD.

5. Scheduled Server Re-arrangement (Jaipur & Noida)
In the coming 1–2 weeks, we will be performing infrastructure optimization, including:

• Dedicated server re-arrangement
• Power and LAN cable replacement

This activity will require a 15–45 minutes downtime per server.
Maintenance will be scheduled during Saturday night or Sunday daytime, and prior notification will be shared.

6. Support Policy Update (Effective 1st May 2026)
We will be transitioning to a fully unmanaged support model, where:

• Support will be limited to hardware and network infrastructure only
• OS and software-level support will no longer be included

(This has also been communicated previously.)

7. Backup Advisory
Customers using our backup services are requested to regularly verify their backups.
If any issue is found, kindly inform us immediately.

Customers not using our backup services are strongly advised to maintain regular backups to avoid data loss in case of any unforeseen issues.

8. DDoS Protection Enhancement
We have significantly improved our infrastructure with L3/L4 level DDoS protection, and further enhancements are currently in progress to provide better network stability and security.
